Image Quality Algorithm Engineer at MediaTek Inc.
I am currently an Image Quality Algorithm Engineer at MediaTek Inc. I also serve as a Research Assistant in Computational Photograph Lab at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, supervised by Prof. Yu-Lun Liu. My research focuses specifically on color constancy, image quality assessment, low-level image processing, and computer vision. I received my Master’s degree from the Graduate Institute of Communication Engineering at National Taiwan University, advised by Prof. Jian-Jiun Ding. Prior to joining MediaTek Inc., I was a Camera Imaging Engineer Intern at Logitech and an Image Processing Engineer Intern at Robert BOSCH GmbH.
ECCV 2026
We present RL-AWB, a novel framework combining statistical methods with deep reinforcement learning for nighttime white balance. We also contribute LEVI, the first multi-sensor nighttime dataset for color constancy in this work.
IEEE APCCAS 2025
FRIEREN, a novel no-reference image quality assessment, effectively and accurately evaluates the face detail quality scaled by different interpolations with low computational complexity.
Implemention details of color and chorma difference algorithms in Imatest and iQ-Analyzer.
