FRIEREN, a novel no-reference image quality assessment, effectively and accurately evaluates the face detail quality scaled by different interpolations with low computational complexity. From human perception, the ranking of detail qualities should be: Lanczos > bicubic > bilinear > nearest-neighbor interpolation. It is recommended to zoom in on-screen to observe the different visual effects of different interpolations.
